Isla de Tagomago

Sailing in my opinion is the best way to explore any islands (and coasts). You can stop (almost) anywhere you like, swim in beautiful waters, watch unbelievable sunsets and beat any luxury hotel views. When the wind is on your side, there is nothing better than sailing with the sole noise of waves and the ocean. Although motor boats and yachts have their conveniences, they consume vast amounts of fuel; they damage the environment and create a lot of noise pollution. I would recommend sailing to everyone and, if you can, start with a course or introduction - you'll enjoy it much more.

The long distance between Mallorca and Formentera meant that we had to spend the night moored by the Island of Tagomago - a private island off the Ibiza coast. As the sun started making its way down, a couple of dolphins came out to play.

The sun sets behind Ibiza and the journey continues...
