Formentera

Mediterranean sun, white sand, clear waters... and a mojito.

As we sailed closer to the island, the turquoise colour of the waters became more and more distinguishable. Formentera turned out to be a quiet, relaxing and scenic island. We slept on land for the first time since we started sailing and went for dinner (twice) to Carlito's restaurant El Caminito. A mix of Argentine grill and fine cuisine awaited us - I can't recommend the place enough!

The next morning we departed from La Savina port and moored by playa Illetas, a stretch of unspoilt beach.

After some fun in the sun,  we spotted Mojito Man - his job? Swimming around the boats by the beach with a bag full of rum, mint, fresh fruit and lots of ice. Unbelievable spirit and mojitos, right from the sea! Enjoy...
